World Gurning Championship is the climax of the Egremont Crab Fair which has been taking place since 1266. The Participants from all over the world take part in this championships and it guarantee the laugh.
The amazingly Ugly faces are pulled up by the participants which are framed by a collar of the horse. The cheers of the audience determine the ugliest face. The Championship begins with a junior championship which is followed by the ladies gurning display. The Championship ends with the world’s best gurners contouring faces into shockingly impossible arrangements.
